Gene Information

human ... TRIM31(11074)

General description

TRIM31 is a protein containing zinc-binding, B-box type, RING, and coiled-coil domains. Alterations in TRIM31 gene have been implicated in attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), whereas the changes in protein levels have been linked to gastric and non-small cell lung cancers.
Rabbit Anti-TRIM31 antibody recognizes human, bovine, and mouse TRIM31.

Immunogen

Synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human TRIM31

Application

Rabbit Anti-TRIM31 antibody is suitable for western blot (0.5 μg/ml) and IHC (4-8 μg/ml) assays.

Biochem/physiol Actions

TRIM31 encodes for a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to both the cytoplasm and the nucleus.

Sequence

Synthetic peptide located within the following region: CRESKDHKSHNVSLIEEAAQNYQGQIQEQIQVLQQKEKETVQVKAQGVHR

Physical form

Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.
