  • Methylene blue as a redox indicator: Recent research has highlighted the application of methylene blue as a redox indicator in radiation-assisted assembly of nanomolybdenum-functionalized covalent organic frameworks, offering advancements in the synthesis and application of these materials for enhanced catalytic performance (Zhang et al., 2024).


  • Methylene blue for photocatalytic reduction: A novel approach in the synthesis of nickel oxide has been utilized to explore methylene blue′s role in photocatalytic reduction, demonstrating its potential in environmental applications to degrade pollutants efficiently (Baytar, 2024).


  • Methylene blue in antimicrobial activities: This dye′s application extends to bioactive contexts, where it has been used to enhance the antimicrobial properties of enzymes immobilized on green synthesized magnetic nanoparticles, providing a multifunctional approach to bioengineering (Fahim et al., 2024).
