General description

TSKgel GMHxl mixed-bed columns are packed with a mixture of rigid, polymer beads, varying in average pore size, for the analysis of organic-soluble industrial polymers. Mixed bed, or linear columns, are used when a broad range of polymer molecular weights is expected in the sample. TSKgel GMHxl provides high resolution of polymers with a molecular weight up to several million Da. The shipping solvent THF can be replaced by benzene, chloroform, toluene, and xylene, but not with dichloromethane and dichloroethane. As the number of solvents that can be exchanged directly with the shipping solvent is limited, use TSKgel Hhr-type columns when a broader range of organic solvents is needed.
