ADVASEP-7 has been used in washing solution to remove excess dyes, FM4-64FX and FM1-43, in stained cells.

Biochem/physiol Actions

ADVASEP-7 is a β-cyclodextran derivative. It works as a dye scavenger and removes the background dye.
Reduces background staining of plasma membrane with SynaptoGreen.

Other Notes

Sulfonated β-cyclodextrin. Component of NTSI, NTSII, and NTSV, also sold individually.
