General description

Propanil is a contact, post-emergence herbicide, used in the cultivation of irrigated rice. Its mode of action involves controlling, the electron transport inhibition of photosynthesis in herbs of wide leaves.

Application

Propanil may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in environmental samples using different chromatography techniques.
