- Monocrotaline-induced Vasomotor Dysfunction: A study demonstrated that pulmonary hypertension impairs vasomotor function in rat diaphragm arterioles, with monocrotaline being used to induce the condition, thereby aiding in understanding the systemic vascular effects of pulmonary arterial hypertension (Schulze et al., 2024).
