General description

An internal standard suitable for use in LC/MS or GC/MS applications including forensic analysis, clinical toxicology, urine drug testing, or isotope dilution methods. Also known as paliperidone, 9-Hydroxyrisperidone is sold under the brand name Invega, an atypical antipsychotic used for acute and maintenance treatment of schizophrenia. The drug is also the primary metabolite of risperidone, marketed as the atypical antipsychotic Risperdal®.
