General description

Phosphatidic acid (PA) is a precursor of lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) and is present in leafy vegetables. 20:4 PA or 1,2-diarachidonoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphate (sodium salt) is a sodium salt of phosphatidic acid, with substitution of two chains of arachidonic acid at the sn-1 and sn-2 positions, in the glycerol backbone.

Application

20:4 PA or 1,2-diarachidonoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphate (sodium salt) has been used as a supplement in mouse chow to see changes in small intestine gene expression.
