L-α-phosphatidylethanolamine is a naturally occurring aminophospholipid in soy lecithin. Soy PE is one of the important components of biological membranes.

Application

Soy PE has been used in the preparation of liposome solutions and as a standard for the quantitative analysis of phospholipids through calibration curves.

Soy PE has an important function in maintaining the structural integrity and functionality of cells. It possesses anti-oxidative properties.
