Dimethyl sulfoxide USP reference standard, intended for use in specified quality tests and assays as specified in the USP compendia. Also, for use with USP monographs such as:
- Dimethyl Sulfoxide Irrigation
- Dimethyl Sulfoxide Gel
- Dimethyl Sulfoxide Topical Solution
- Methylsulfonylmethane
Caution
Supercools easily and remelts slowly at room temperature. Solidified product can be re-liquified by warming to room temperature without detriment to the product.
