General description

Lindane is an organochlorine pesticide, widely employed in agriculture and in the pharmaceutical treatment of scabies and lice.

Application

Lindane may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in environmental samples using isotope dilution method with gas chromatography/mass spectrometry.
