Gene Information

human ... RALY(22913)

General description

RNA-binding protein RALY is a member of the RRM HNRPC family and contains a characteristic RRM (RNA recognition motif) domain. It is thought to participate in pre-mRNA splicing and may be a heterogenous nuclear ribonucleoprotein. Phosphorylation of RALY has been observed following damage to DNA. Expression has been observed in brain, heart, kidney, liver, lung, pancreas, and skeletal muscle.

Immunogen

Histidine-tagged recombinant protein corresponding to human RALY.

Application

Immunoprecipitation Analysis: 10 µg from a representative lot immunoprecipitated RALY from HepG2 cell lysate.
Research Category
Epigenetics & Nuclear Function
Research Sub Category
RNA Metabolism & Binding Proteins
Use Anti-RALY Antibody (rabbit polyclonal antibody) validated in WB, IP to detect RALY also known as hnRNP core protein C-like 2, RNA-binding protein (autoantigenic hnRNP-associated with lethal yellow).

Quality

Evaluated by Western Blot in HepG2 cell lysate.

Western Blot Analysis: 1:10,000 dilution of this antibody detected RALY on 10 µg of HepG2 cell lysate.
