General description

Phenol-1,2-dichlorobenzene mixture is a mixture of phenol and 1,2-dichlorobenzene in the ratio of 1:1. 1,2-Dichlorobenzene/Phenol mixture (50/50wt%) has been used as solvent for poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) during the evaluation of intrinsic viscosity of PBS by Huggins and Kramer plots, and from the single-point methods.

Application

Phenol-1,2-dichlorobenzene mixture may be used as a solvent to measure the intrinsic viscosity of a polymer sample using an Ubbelohde viscometer.
