Pentahydroxy phase for fast analysis of polar compounds

Ascentis® Express OH5 is a high-speed, high-performance liquid chromatography column based on Fused-Core® particle technology. The OH5 phase is a highly polar ligand that possesses 5 hydroxyl groups tethered to the silica via novel proprietary linkage phase chemistry. This phase is designed to provide enhanced HILIC partitioning and limited ion exchange retention. This phase exhibits enhanced retention and performance based on the unique phase chemistry coupled with the Fused-Core® technology. The Ascentis® Express OH5 HPLC column can be used for basic, acidic, zwitterionic or neutral polar compounds with unique selectivity in HILIC mode, which also allows for improved MS sensitivity due to the higher organic content of mobile phases in this mode of chromatography. It can be also be used for traditional normal phase separations using non-polar, totally organic mobile phases.

Ascentis® Express OH5 is a high-speed, high-performance liquid chromatography column based on a superficially porous Fused-Core® particle design. The Fused-Core® particle provides a thin porous shell of high-purity silica surrounding a solid silica core. This particle design exhibits very high column efficiency due to the shallow diffusion paths. Three different particle sizes are available for your specific needs:
