Gene Information
human ... TLR4(7099)
General description
Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) belongs to the interleukin-1 receptor (IL-1R) family. It is highly polymorphic and is located on human chromosome 9q33.1.
Immunogen
Antibody was raised against a 14 amino acid peptide near the carboxy terminus of human TLR4.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) acts as the receptor for LPS (lipopolysaccharides ), a gram-negative bacterial cell wall component. Mutations in TLR4 affects mRNA and protein expression in colorectal cancer.
Features and Benefits
Evaluate our antibodies with complete peace of mind. If the antibody does not perform in your application, we will issue a full credit or replacement antibody. Learn more.
Linkage
The action of this antibody can be blocked using blocking peptide SBP3500765.
Physical form
Supplied at 1 mg/mL in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide.
