Cell Line Description
Derived from a tumour induced in an NZC mouse by irradiation, the cell line represents an early stage of B cell development characterised by high-density membrane immunoglobulin expression (IgGM, kappa) but no detectable immunoglobulin secretion.
Culture Medium
DMEM + 2mM Glutamine + 0.05mM 2-Mercaptoethanol (2ME) + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 5x10,000 to 2x100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2: 37°C.
