General description

Filter Code: SKBM
Strat-M Membrane for Transdermal Diffusion Testing
Experience the unmatched predictability of Strat-M membrane – a synthetic, non-animal based model for transdermal diffusion testing that is predictive of diffusion in human skin without lot-to-lot variability, safety and storage limitations.

Strat-M membrane is designed for screening of:
•Active pharmaceutical ingredients (API)
•Cosmetic actives
•Formulations
•Personal care products
•Pesticides and chemicals

Human Skin Correlation
Strat-M membrane is predictive of diffusion in human skin for a wide range of compounds and formulations. Use the Compound Correlation Tool to learn how well Strat-M membrane will work for you.

Reproducible Diffusion Data:
No need to repeat testing each time a new lot of skin arrives in the lab. Strat-M membrane is a highly consistent, engineered material that allows you to compare today’s diffusion data with data you will generate next week, or next month. Furthermore, lot-to-lot consistency brings a new level of clarity to your test data, simplifying your analysis.

Sensitive to Enhancers
Strat-M membrane exhibits differential permeability in the presence of enhancers and is compatible with common formulation formats, so it is appropriate for use during formulation optimization.

Ultimate Experimental Convenience
Strat-M membrane was designed with convenience in mind. The Strat-M membrane is shelf-stable and stocked in the warehouse so procurement and storage is a breeze. Each membrane is individually packaged as precut discs and do not need to be hydrated prior to use. Simply remove the Strat-M membrane disc from its pouch and load into a Franz cell.

Application

Strat-M membrane is a synthetic, non-animal based model for transdermal diffusion testing that is predictive of diffusion in human skin without lot-to-lot variability, safety & storage limitations.
