General description

Standard building block for introduction of tryptophan by Boc SPPS. The formyl group is stable to standard high HF cleavage but can be removed by HF containing thiophenol [1,2,3]. The formyl group can also be removed with piperidine in DMF prior to HF cleavage.

Protocols

The most popular reagent for cleavage of peptides from Boc-based resins is anhydrous HF. Of all the cleavage procedures HF appears to be the most versatile and least harmful to a wide variety of peptides synthesized on Boc-based resins.

Our team of scientists has experience in all areas of research including Life Science, Material Science, Chemical Synthesis, Chromatography, Analytical and many others.
