General description

Riboflavin is an essential B vitamin for maintaining human health with key roles in energy metabolism as well as a critical component of enzyme cofactors and flavoproteins.

Application

Riboflavin (vitamin B2) may be used as a certified reference material (CRM) for the determination of the analyte in foodstuffs, biological samples and pharmaceuticals by different chromatography techniques.
This certified solution standard is suitable for use as starting materials in the preparation of calibrators, controls, or linearity standards in a variety of testing applications from diagnostic testing of vitamin B2 deficiency by HPLC to quality control testing of vitamin B2-based dietary supplements, fortified foods or pharmaceutical preparations.
