Application

Platinum on carbon (Pt/C) is a versatile catalyst used for the hydrogenation of alkenes, alkynes, nitro groups, ketones, and aromatics. It is used for hydrogenolysis of cyclopropanes and catalyzes the oxidation of alcohols. It is a useful reagent for reductive couplings, avoids dehalogenation.

Product can be used with our benchtop hydrogen generator, H-Genie Lite (Z744083)
