Pyrimidifen is pyrimidainamine insecticide used to control a wide range of mites on fruit and vegetables such as citrus, strawberries, tomatoes, apples brassicas, tea and cotton. Pyrimidifen is not approved according to Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 for use in the European Union as a plant protection product. A default maximum residue level (MRL) of 0.01 mg/kg has been set according to Art 18(1)(b) Reg 396/2005. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques
