General description

Decafluorotriphenylphosphine (DFTPP) is commonly used as a check standard for the calibration of mass spectrum detector (MSD) prior to the analysis of samples under investigation.

Application

DFTPP may be used as a reference compound to assess the abundance performance/calibration of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) systems prior to the determination of polychlorinated biphenyls in human serum, pesticides in whole blood analysis, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in blood samples of clinical and forensic cases, organic priority pollutants in the composts of sewage sludge with rice straw and micropollutants in environmental and food samples.
