General description
Interleukin-18 (IL-18) belongs to the IL-1 family of cytokines. It is synthesized as an inactive precursor and converted to the active form by caspase-1. IL-18 is involved in the synthesis of interferon-γ (IFN-γ) and IL-13 from T-cells and natural killer (NK) cells. It is a proinflammatory cytokine that aids in the activation of NK cells and T helper 1 cell response. The antibody pair provided in this kit recognizes mouse interleukin 18.
The antibody pair provided in this kit recognizes Mouse Interleukin 18.

IL-18 is a proinflammatory cytokine that plays an important role in natural killer cell activation and T helper 1 (Th1) cell responses. Mast cells and basophils are major inducers and effectors of allergic inflammation. Here we show that basophils and

Interleukin-18 (IL-18) is a member of the IL-1 family of cytokines. Similar to IL-1β, IL-18 is synthesized as an inactive precursor requiring processing by caspase-1 into an active cytokine but unlike IL-1β, the IL-18 precursor is constitutively present in nearly

Development of novel therapies is critical for T-cell acute leukaemia (T-ALL). Here, we investigated the effect of inhibiting the MAPK/MEK/ERK pathway on T-ALL cell growth. Unexpectedly, MEK inhibitors (MEKi) enhanced growth of 70% of human T-ALL cell samples cultured on

Lectin-like oxidized low-density lipoprotein scavenger receptor-1 (LOX-1) is known to be involved in many pathophysiological events, such as inflammation. To clarify the role of LOX-1 in mtDNA damage and NLRP3 inflammasome activation, we studied wild-type (WT) and LOX-1 knockout (KO)

Recent studies have provided overwhelming evidence of the involvement of microglia-related molecular networks in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's diseases (AD). The potential involvement of pro-inflammatory cytokines interleukin (IL)-18, IL-23 and IL-17 on amyloid (Aβ) clearance is still unclear. In this
