General description

Brassinolide is a plant growth hormone and the most biologically active brassinosteroid (BR). It has been implicated in Auxin signaling. It has also been used for studying plant biosynthetic pathways. Brassinolide might also regulate water-transport properties of cell membranes in Arabidopsis thaliana.

Application

Brassinolide has been used as a plant growth hormone.

Poly-γ-glutamic acid (γ-PGA) is a microbe-secreted isopeptide shown to promote growth and enhance crop stress tolerance. However, its downstream signaling pathways are unknown. Here, we studied γ-PGA-induced tolerance to salt and cold stresses. Pretreatment with γ-PGA contributed to enhance stress

Somatic embryogenesis receptor kinases (SERKs) are ligand-binding coreceptors that are able to combine with different ligand-perceiving receptors such as BRASSINOSTEROID INSENSITIVE1 (BRI1) and FLAGELLIN-SENSITIVE2. Phenotypical analysis of serk single mutants is not straightforward because multiple pathways can be affected, while
