Gene Information

human ... CCR7(1236)

General description

Anti-CCR7 antibody detects endogenous level of total CCR7(CD197) protein. CCR7 (C-C motif chemokine receptor 7) is localized to T cells, natural killer and dendritic cells. The CCR7 gene is mapped to human chromosome 17q21.2.

Immunogen

Peptide sequence around aa. 29-33 (T-D-D-Y-I), according to the protein NP_001829.1

Biochem/physiol Actions

CCR7 (C-C motif chemokine receptor 7) regulates lymphocyte cell trafficking and lymph node distribution. CCR7′s interaction with CCL21 promotes metastasis of cancer via lymph node. CCR7 is known to be associated with breast cancer, melanoma, colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

It is well-documented that both chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 19 (CCL19) and 21 (CCL21) mediate cell migration and angiogenesis in many diseases. However, these ligands' precise pathological role in ankylosing spondylitis (AS) has not been elucidated. The objective of this
