Application
A selective culture medium used as a presumptive test for Escherichia coli and coliform bacteria and for determining the Escherichia coli or coliform titre in milk, water and other materials.
Preparation Note
To prepare single strength broth, dissolve 40g in 1 litre demineralised water. Distribute into final containers filled with Durham tubes. Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.
