Gene Information

Specificity

Recognizes NHE3.
The immunogen sequence shares 90% homology with mouse NHE3.

Immunogen

A 22 AA peptide within the cytoplasmic, c-terminal domain of the rat NHE3 (Brant et al. 1995; Orlowsji et al. 1992; Chris Yun et al. 1995; Josette & Pouyssegur 1995). Control peptide is available, cat# AG779.

This Anti-Na+/H+ Exchanger-3 Antibody is validated for use in ELISA, WB for the detection of Na+/H+ Exchanger-3.
Western blot: 1-10 μg/mL using Chemiluminescence technique. A band of approximately 90 kD has been detected in brush border membrane (Yohsioka et al. 1997). ELISA: 1:100,000 using 50-100 ng control peptide/well.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

The estrogen receptor-alpha (ERalpha) acts through multiple pathways, including estrogen response element (ERE)-dependent (classical) and ERE-independent (nonclassical) mechanisms. We previously created a mouse model harboring a two-amino-acid mutation of the DNA-binding domain (E207A, G208A) that precludes direct binding of ERalpha

cAMP is a universal second messenger regulating a plethora of processes in the kidney. Two downstream effectors of cAMP are PKA and exchange protein directly activated by cAMP (Epac), which, unlike PKA, is often linked to elevation of [Ca2+]i. While
