Pentazocine is a synthetic opioid analgesic sold under trade names Fortral, Talwin, or Talacen and used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain. Suitable use of this certified Snap-N-Spike® solution and internal standard includes quantitation of pentazocine levels and isotope dilution methods by GC/MS or LC/MS in applications for clinical toxicology, urine drug testing, forensic analysis or pain prescription monitoring.
