Description générale

Pour les gaz et les composés de faible poids moléculaire (MW 30-225)
We are committed to bringing you greener alternative products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This is a Solid Phase Microextraction (SPME) technology product. SPME is one of the greener technologies for sample preparation as it is solvent free extraction technology and SPME fibres are re-usable and generates as little waste as possible, thus aligns with "Waste Prevention”, and ″Safer Solvents and Auxiliaries″. Niels Bjerg Jensen et al.
Nature communications, 2, 273-273 (2011-04-21)
For more than 420 million years, plants, insects and their predators have co-evolved based on a chemical arms race including deployment of refined chemical defence systems by each player. Cyanogenic glucosides are produced by numerous plants and by some specialized

Journal of chromatography. A, 1216(45), 7889-7898 (2009-09-29)
Animal-derived products are particularly vulnerable to contamination by volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These lipophilic substances, which are generated by an increasing number of sources, are easily transferred to the atmosphere, water, soil, and plants. They are ingested by livestock and
Sudhir Kumar Pandey et al.
Journal of chromatography. A, 1216(28), 5436-5444 (2009-06-06)
In this study, the feasibility of GC-MS was evaluated for the quantification of odorous volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in environmental samples. These included methyl ethyl ketone, isobutyl alcohol, methyl isobutyl ketone, and butyl acetate plus benzene, toluene, and xylene (BTX).
E Serrano et al.
Journal of chromatography. A, 1216(1), 127-133 (2008-11-29)
The objective of this paper is to investigate the potential of multiple headspace-solid-phase microextraction (MHS-SPME) for the determination of volatile compounds in complex matrix samples. A method based on MHS-SPME for the determination of around 20 volatile compounds, responsible of
Carlo Bicchi et al.
Journal of chromatography. A, 1218(6), 753-762 (2011-01-05)
The study compares standard addition (SA), stable isotope dilution assay (SIDA) and multiple headspace extraction (MHE) as methods to quantify furan and 2-methyl-furan in roasted coffee with HS-SPME-GC-MS, using CAR-PDMS as fibre coating, d(4)-furan as internal standard and in-fibre internal

Protocoles

High performance, reliability, and reproducibility of HS-SPME in combination with GC/MS for the determination of VOCs in water was proven in an interlaboratory trial. The new ISO 17943 using HS-SPME is an improvement on existing official methods for this determination in terms of sensitivity and selectivity.
