Description générale

Amyloid β A4 precursor protein-binding family B member 3 (APBB3) contains a WW domain and two PID elements. The gene encoding this protein is present on chromosome 5. It is composed of 486 amino acids.

Application

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

The carboxyl-terminal region of amyloid β A4 precursor protein-binding family B member 3 (APBB3) interacts with the intracellular domain of the Alzheimer′s beta-amyloid precursor protein (APP) and APP-like proteins. It modulates the internalization of APP.
