Description générale

La spécificité et la réactivité sont déterminées par la double diffusion d'Ouchterlony et l'immunoélectrophorèse par rapport au complexe biotine-protéine porteuse. Aucune réactivité n'est observée par rapport à la protéine porteuse.

Application

Dans certaines applications, la localisation de sondes biotinylées avec de l'avidine produit des niveaux de bruit de fond élevés. Des réactifs anti-biotine peuvent être substitués à l'avidine pour diminuer la liaison non spécifique.
