Informations sur le gène

Drosophila melanogaster ... Egfr(37455)

Description générale

The signalling by dEGFR (also known as Torpedo or DER) is crucial for the development processes in Drosophila. The dEGFR signalling results in the activation of the canonical RAS/RAF/MEK/MAPK cascade. A variety of modulators such as Gro, TGF-α, Argos, Sprouty and Notch play an integrative role in EGFR signalling. The other pathways EGFR is involved in the development of the compound eye, larval, eye, wing and malphigian tubule development. Monoclonal Anti-dEGFR, Cytoplasmic Domain recognizes Drosophila Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR). The antibody epitope resides within amino acids 1200-1267 of Drosophila EGFR.

Immunogène

recombinant cytoplasmic domain fragment of the Drosophila EGFR (amino acids 1200-1267).

Application

Anti-dEGF Receptor, Cytoplasmic Domain antibody may be used for immunoblotting at a working concentration of 0.25-0.5 μg/ml. The antibody is suitable for immunohistochemistry and ELISA.

In this minireview, we briefly revisit the Drosophila Notch and epidermal growth factor receptor pathways, and relate to the relationship between them. We then mainly focus on the involvement of Groucho (Gro)/TLE, a global developmental corepressor, in these pathways. In
