Cell Line Description

1301 is a sub-line of CCRF-CEM, Sigma catalogue no. 85112105. It has unusually long telomeres, useful in tests where telomere length is determined, where it can be used as control cells with known telomere length. This cell line has been recommended as a control cell line for use with the Telomere PNA Kit/FITC for flow cytometry from DakoCytomation.

Application

Internal control cell in telomere measurements performed by flow cytometry.

Subculture Routine

Maintain cultures between 3-9 x 100,000 cells/ml; 37°C; 5% CO2.
