Work with ease and filter with confidence with Stericup® and Steritop® Filtration Systems.

The Stericup® E and Steritop® E sterile filters are designed as a Greener Alternative for vacuum sterile filtration that significantly reduces plastic and packaging.

This Stericup® E is a 38mm thread collar which uses a 0.22 μm pore size polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filter unit combined with a 500 mL receiver flask and cap for processing and storage. The 38 mm thread directly connects to our media bottles and majority of other standard commercial media bottles.

Use only glass or plastic bottles designed for vacuum applications.

Application

For Research Use Only
Stericup® and Steritop® systems are designed to reduce foaming and protein denaturation while maximizing flow and can be used for sterile vacuum filtration of aqueous solutions such as tissue culture media and biological fluids.

  • Tissue culture media +/- additives
  • Buffers
  • Biological solutions

Features and Benefits

  • The filter collar disconnects from the receiver bottle with just a quarter turn—reducing the likelihood of spillage and making it easier to manipulate on the bench or under the hood.
  • Bold product identification on the filter collar plainly displays membrane characteristics, including composition and pore size, for rapid, application-appropriate product selection.
  • Click seal cap is flanged and modified to enable a firm grip in wet or dry conditions—and a tactile stop confirms secure closure. Worry less about the possibility of spilling or contamination of sterilized contents.
  • Frosted, ample writing surface on the receiver bottle and lighter cap color facilitate clear labelling to improve legibility and reduce unreadable smears.
  • Click seal cap rests on the side to avoid risk of contamination.
  • Receiver bottles are stackable to save storage space.
