Biochem/physiol Actions

SPV106 is a mixed inhibitor/activator of histone acetyltransferase (HAT) activity. The compound inhibits the activity of p300/CBP, but potentiates p300/CBP-associated factor (PCAF) activity. SPV106 also induces S-phase cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in U937 cells.
