General description
mEHEC Broth in bags is used for selective enrichment of Salmonella, Enterohemorrhagic E. coli during bacteriological examination of water, milk and foods. The media contains tryptone that provides nitrogenous and carbonaceous compounds, amino acids and other essential growth nutrients. It contains buffereing agents and selective substances, but the exact composition is proprietary and cannot not be disclosed.
Application
mEHEC Broth in bags is used for selective enrichment of Salmonella, Enterohemorrhagic E.coli O157:H7, and non-O157 Shiga toxin-producing E. coli in selected foods. Specially validated for use with Assurance GDS®, TRANSIA® Plate, TRANSIA® AG, and VIP® Gold.
