Darren Verlenden

Darren Verlenden is the Head of Process Solutions at the Life Science business of Merck.

Verlenden has 28 years of experience with multifunctional roles in Pharma and BioPharma. He joined Merck through the Millipore acquisition in 2010, where he has served in roles of increasing diversity, complexity and responsibility in the process development and commercial areas.

As Head of BioProcessing, he has consistently delivered high growth and profit with his team over the past 6 years, leading key business strategic initiatives like the transformation of the core product and service portfolio to be inclusive of software assets in the Bio4C Suite program.

Verlenden is obsessed with creating customer value, and he is passionate about improving the way Biopharma delivers value to their patients through product and digital technologies.
