Staphylococcal enterotoxin B is a toxic bacterial superantigen. The staphylococcal enterotoxins family have high sequence similarity.

- to conjugate with hollow gold nanosphere and as a component of lateral flow immunoassay strip
- in antibody sandwich immunoassay
- for coupling with magnetic beads for detection assay
Acciones bioquímicas o fisiológicas
Staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB) is a superantigen that binds to class II MHC molecules on antigen presenting cells. It stimulates large populations of T cells resulting in acute toxic shock syndrome. It is resistant to denaturation and causes outbreaks of food poisoning that includes emetic responses, diarrhea and GI inflammation.
Staphylococcal enterotoxin B compromises the immune system by triggering inflammation and cytokine release.

Reconstitución
Reconstitute with 2 ml deionized water.
