Información sobre el gen

Especificidad

Recognizes rat Anion Exchanger 1 (AE1). The immunogen shows no significant sequence homology with other AE or other proteins.

SPECIES REACTIVITIES: The immunogen sequence is 90% conserved in mouse, 75% in human and 70% in bovine. Reactivity with other species has not been confirmed.

Inmunógeno

A 20 amino acid peptide sequence near the N-terminus of rat AE1 (Kudrycki et al. 1989; Kopito et al. 1985; Raida et al. 1989; Lux et al. 1989; Tanner et al. 1988).

Aplicación

Anti-Anion Exchanger 1 Antibody detects level of Anion Exchanger 1 & has been published & validated for use in ELISA & WB.

Western blot: 1-10 μg/mL using ECL. AE1 has a molecular weight of approximately 90-100 kDa. It aggregates easily forming dimers and multimers. It may also be proteolytically processed to smaller fragments of 60, 40 and 20 kDa.

ELISA: 1-10 μg/mL using 1 μg/mL control peptide per well.

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Forma física

Affinity purified immunoglobulin. Liquid in Liquid in PBS with 0.1% BSA.

Almacenamiento y estabilidad

Maintain at -20°C in undiluted aliquots for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
