General description

SGE Gas Tight syringes are constructed of borosilicate glass, PTFE plunger tips, and KEL-F Luer cones depending upon the experimentation process. SGE syringes have been a consistent choice for LC and GC equipment. An interference fit between the plunger tip and the barrel enhances the gas sealing properties of the SGE syringe. Plungers are interchangeable. SGE gas tight syringes can be autoclaved, but the plunger should be removed. SGE gastight Luer lock syringe can be effectively used for the introduction of samples to the gas sampling and injection system (GASIS) inlet.
  • Maximum inertness for liquid or gas samples
  • Suitable for manual disperser/diluter applications
  • High accuracy of dispensed volume
  • Wide variety of terminations
  • Less time consuming
  • SGE gas tight syringes also improves work flow analysis
