ZooMAb antibodies represent an entirely new generation of recombinant monoclonal antibodies.

Each ZooMAb antibody is manufactured using our proprietary recombinant expression system, purified to homogeneity, and precisely dispensed to produce robust and highly reproducible lot-to-lot consistency. Only top-performing clones are released for use by researchers. Each antibody is validated for high specificity and affinity across multiple applications, including its most commonly used application. ZooMAb antibodies are reliably available and ready to ship when you need them.

Specificity

Clone 2C8 is a ZooMAb rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically detects Disco-interacting protein 2 homolog B (DIP2B). It targets an epitope within 17 amino acids from the C-terminal half.

Immunogen

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to 17 amino acids from the C-terminal half of human Disco-interacting protein 2 homolog B (DIP2B).

Application

Anti-DIP2B, clone 2C8 ZooMAb, Cat. No. ZRB1349, is a recombinant Rabbit monoclonal antibody that specifically targets Disco-interacting protein 2 homolog B (DIP2B) and has been tested for use in Affinity Binding Assay, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin), and Western Blotting.
Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected DIP2B in mouse brain, rat brain, HEK293, and human kidney lysates.

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected DIP2B in human kidney tissue sections.

Affinity Binding Assay: A representative lot of this antibody bound DIP2B peptide with a KD of 4.24 x 10-6 an affinity binding assay.

Note: Actual optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user as specimens, and experimental conditions may vary with the end user.

Target description

Disco-interacting protein 2 homolog B (UniProt: Q9P265; also known as DIP2 homolog B, DIP2B) is encoded by the DIP2B (also known as KIAA1463) gene (Gene ID: 57609) in human. DIP2B is a member of the DIP2 family that contains a one highly conserved DNA methyltransferase 1 associated protein 1 (DMAP1)-binding domain (aa 14-31) and two AMP-binding domains (aa 370-822 and 1025-1495). The AMP-binding domains are rich in serine, threonine, and glycine and possess catalytic activity. The DMAP1 has a transcription-repressor activity. DIP2B is moderately expressed in adult brain, placenta, skeletal muscle, heart, kidney, pancreas, lung, spleen and colon. Its expression is reported to be weaker in adult liver, kidney, spleen, and ovary, and in fetal brain and liver. In the brain, its highest expression has been observed in the cerebral cortex and the frontal and parietal lobes. This ZooMAb recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals. Physical form

Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS with 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 μL.

Reconstitution

30 μg/mL after reconstitution at 25 μL per vial. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.

Storage and Stability

Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
