General description

The Expand High FidelityPLUS PCR System is a blend of Taq DNA polymerase and a thermostable proofreading protein that lacks polymerase activity.
The Expand High FidelityPLUS PCR System is designed to amplify fragments up to 5 kb from all types of DNA with high yield and fidelity. It amplifies DNA with sixfold greater fidelity than Taq DNA polymerase alone.
Expand High FidelityPLUS PCR System also incorporates dUTP. Cross-contamination can therefore be prevented by a pretreatment of dUTP containing DNA with heat-labile Uracil-DNA Glycosylase before amplification. It is suited for the simultaneous amplification of a large number of targets.

Application

The Expand High FidelityPLUS PCR System designed for the robust amplification of fragments up to 5 kb from all types of DNA with outstanding yield, specificity, sensitivity, and accuracy. This kit is the product of choice for the development of a new amplification assay or the optimization of an existing assay.
Use Expand High FidelityPLUS PCR System for:
  • PCR
  • RT-PCR
  • Primer extension
  • Carryover prevention

Features and Benefits

  • Safeguard against cross-contamination.
This is the choice for large numbers of amplifications.
  • Obtain sixfold higher fidelity and higher yields,
compared to Taq DNA Polymerase.
  • Efficiently label DNA.
Use this kit to label DNA with radioactive or nonradioactive nucleotides.

Legal Information

Transition-metal-catalyzed cross-coupling is an efficient tool for constructing C-C, C-N and C-O bonds in organic synthesis. Intensive interest has been focused on the development of the most effective ligands that improve catalyst performance. Ligands play a key role in stabilizing and activating the central metal atom and fine-tuning the selectivity of transformation. Phosphines have proven to be the most significant class of ligands for cross couplings, such as Negishi, Suzuki, Stille, Heck, Sonogashira, and Buchwald-Hartwig cross-coupling.
