Gene Information

mouse ... Hcn2(15166)
rat ... Hcn2(114244)

Specificity

HCN2 (Hyperpolarization-activated and cyclic nucleotide-gated channel 2). The antibody recognizes both the glycosyated and deglycosylated form of HCN2. The antibody recognizes a weak band at ~98 kDa and a stronger band at ~108 kDa in glycosylated protein from a retinal membrane preparation.

Immunogen

Synthetic peptide from rat HCN2.

Application

Anti-HCN2 Antibody is an antibody against HCN2 for use in IH & WB.

Hyperpolarization-activated and cyclic nucleotide-gated (HCN) channels codetermine the integrative behaviour of neurons and shape their response to synaptic stimulation. We used immunohistochemistry and patch-clamp recording to study the composition and distribution of HCN channels in the rat retina. All four

Hyperpolarization‑activated cyclic nucleotide‑gated (HCN) channels have been known to participate in the regulation of neuronal excitability, synaptic transmission and long‑term potentiation in the hippocampus. The present study investigated transient ischemia‑induced changes of HCN1 and HCN2 expressions in the Cornu Ammonis
