General description

Antifade: p-Phenylenediamine and glycerol in a PBS solution.

Application

For use with fluorescence staining including DAPI and Propidium Iodide. Antifade prevents the permanent loss of fluorescence or fluorescent signal oxidation due to photobleaching and prolonged exposure to high intensity light sources by inhibiting the quenching of the fluorescence signals. Qualified for use with paraffin-embedded, formalin-fixed tissue sections, whole cells (interphase nuclei), and metaphase chromosomes.

Materials Provided

Each vial contains 1 ml of Antifade Solution
