General description

Cellvento® ModiFeed Sial+ COMP is part of the ModiFeed platform. It is a highly concentrated, one-part, pH neutral feed added to replenish depleted nutrients required for cellular function and to extend the production phase in fed-batch mode, while simultanously maximizing sialylation on the protein of interest. It is recommended combination with the production media Cellvento® 4CHO and EX-CELL® Advanced CHO or other production media.

Application

Control of protein glycosylation, such as sialylation, while maximizing productivity is key for successful therapeutic protein development and production. N-glycoslyations of IgG Fc, particularly sialylation, has been reported to exert significant anti-inflammatory effects. High sialylation levels can help to increase stability, safety, and efficacy of the protein of interest. Cellvento® ModiFeed Sial+ COMP was developed to increase sialylation while maintaining or improving titer in CHO fed-batch processes

Features and Benefits

  • Reduced complexity in fed-batch process
  • Complete feed maximizing galactosylation
  • Highly concentrated to reduce required feed volume
  • Compacted format for conventient handling
  • Higher liquid feed stability at room temperature

Quantity

Formulated to contain 155.8 grams of powder per liter of feed.
