General description

Trifloxystrobin is classified under the group of new strobilurin fungicides applied in viticulture for the control of downy (Plasmopara viticola) and powdery (Uncinula necator) mildews. Its mode of action involves the inhibition of the mitochondrial respiration by means of its binding at the Qo site of cytochrome b, present in the inner mitochondrial membrane of the fungi.

Application

Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
Trifloxystrobin may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in wine, fruits and vegetables, and rice and soil samples by various chromatographic techniques.
