General description
Nonylphenol monoethoxylates are a class of non-ionic surfactants, which are well-known precursors of estrogenic metabolic products found during wastewater treatment.
Application
Nonylphenol monoethoxylate has been used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in soils treated with sewage sludge by pressurized liquid extraction (PLE), followed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). It may be used as a reference standard for the analysis of the analyte in wastewater and sewage sludge by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and in textile industry, waste water treatment plant effluents and surface waters by solid phase extraction (SPE) followed by LC-MS.
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
