General description
Molecular sieve 0.3 nm is a porous solid that can be used in desiccators and drying tubes to dry gases and absolute solvents. It also changes its color from brown to yellowish at a water uptake of approximately 7-10 g/100 g molecular sieve.
Application
Molecular sieve 0.3 nm can be used as an adsorbent:
- To remove traces of moisture in chemicals.
- In ethanol-water mixture purification to obtain pure ethanol.
