General description
We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Find details here.
Application
Platinum black (low bulk density) can be electroplated on implantable microelectrode arrays (MEAs) to improve the impedence of the device. It can be used as a microelectrode for the formation of a microfluidic electrochemical sensor for glucose sensing applications. It can also be used as a photocathode for the production of hydrogen.

Monolayer of PDDA/graphene/PDDA/H(2)PtCl(6) is fabricated on conductive glass using electrostatic layer-by-layer self-assembly technique, which is then converted to graphene/Pt monolayer for use as counter electrode in dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC). As compared to the sputtered Pt counter electrode, the self-assembled
