General description

We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for energy efficiency. Find details here.

Application

1,3-Cyclohexanebis(methylamine), mixture of isomers (1,3-BAC), is used as a cross-linking agent that can be used in the formation of fiber-based membranes for the separation of CO2. It can also be used in the synthesis of open-framework bimetallic phosphites for potential usage in molecular sieves and ion exchangers.

We noted previously that certain aminoglycoside antibiotics inhibit the binding of coatomer to Golgi membranes in vitro. The inhibition is mediated in part by two primary amino groups present at the 1 and 3 positions of the 2-deoxystreptamine moiety of

We describe a strategy for developing hydrophilic chemical cocktails for tissue delipidation, decoloring, refractive index (RI) matching, and decalcification, based on comprehensive chemical profiling. More than 1,600 chemicals were screened by a high-throughput evaluation system for each chemical process. The
